SotW – Land of Confusion

By Disturbed (Originally by Genesis)
Why? This song meant alot of things to more than just a single generation here in America. A cry to the public at large to exhibit ethics in politics and be role models rather than archetypes for disaster and greed.

Prayer

By Disturbed
Why? It’s…well…we tread on my opinions regarding the difference between an Act of Faith and a Plea for Intervention. The Act albeit invariably leads to good intention. The Plea allows the Person to disguise the indifference of Man as an act of a Higher Power.

SotW – Brackish

By Kittie
I was born a metal-head. My mom’s music was good, but never fast or harsh enough. My dad supposedly was affiliated with the Allman brothers…it seems the apple that feel from the tree grew in a big-ass tree bearing nuts, not fruit per se. Kittie came around long after my hair was long and I was dating groupies, but their music…suffice to say I relate, I empathize, and I even catch myself playing a little air-drums.
