Downfall

Sometimes it seems like cosmic synergy to possess grace…and rage…and…well..okay…I like the song ;)…so sue me.

Sins of the Fathers

by Course of Empire

This was one of the first songs I ever listened to that reached me and struck me as more than just another melodic litany, and inspired me to some of my own writing as well. The band has broken up, but has been so gracious to offer their recordings for free to download off the net. Very good stuff. Here’s the link!

Baby, you wouldnt last a minute on the creek.

Sometimes it just plain spooky how close music makes sense. So far past the point of no return, I listened to this…and stopped. I’m not one to regret my decisions, and certainly not in this case. This song just struck a chord with me. Does it apply now? Hell no, but you look back and say…$1000 a year late 😉

I think too many people find regret rather than confidence in reflecting their decisions. If you made a conscious decision with the best of intentions, second guessing is only viable for analysis when expecting the situation to repeat. This could easily be applied to the Democratic nominees. We have one guy, unproven in so many eyes, and in Washington, this means dangerous, since there are so many financial powerhouses that turn to glass when a President isn’t on the take. We also have a lady who’s quite literally been in bed with the corruption and knows her way around DC. So…my take? absolute power corrupts, and so Obama might actually either use too heavy a hand or a soft touch. He may also find himself filling the role of dictator fueling a growing discontent with governmental corruption. Clinton has an agenda already, and has had her eyes set on this since her hubbie got busted for enjoying himself outside the confines of his marriage.

Anyhow, i didn’t mean to go on a tangent.
