Huge Bummer…

So I mentioned earlier that my first drum teacher used to jamm with the Glenn Miller Band. At the time I thought it was the lamest thing..ever, but as the years and the experience came on I found out that wasnt such a lame thing..at all 😉

So I decided to look him up…and I totally found something I didnt want to…

…his tribute page. He passed away in 2004. On there he was quoted…

“I never worked a day in my life. I went from one party to the next and we were the entertainment.”

He actually told me this in one of my first lessons 😉

Cheers old man, I may not have been a great drummer, but you taught me how to love the music 😉
