About
This is me -Tony Hunt- …no, not the pro-football player. I am an artist…an author…and most importantly …*grin*…I am just another Franco-Italian. I read, I write, and was once known to both injure and get injured regularly by swinging swords at people in the SCA and Amtgard. I have a penchant for doing the right thing regardless of how much its gonna cost me in blood, sweat and tears.
I spend my weekdays making sure a massive network of very expensive servers stays up and running, my nights wishing I had more time to spend, and my weekends making up for everything I missed and/or wanted to do in the past. When not doing any of the above, I can sometimes be found doing things like jumping out of airplanes, saving small third-world countries, and having coffee in Brazil, and occasionally I can be found helping Habitat for Humanity build houses here in Dallas. If you’re not helping some-one or some-thing out of sheer habit, then you aren’t helping enough.
I am currently in the process of revising this part of the site since it’s pretty dated
I haven’t fought in Amtgard in a couple years, haven’t sparred with anyone older that 13 in almost as long…and unfortunately haven’t diced or played an RPG in ages. What I have done though is started to find my way, and in in the middle of finishing my first RPG supplement book (about to hand the rights over to Palladium), and am most importantly working on my first full-length novel, tentatively titled Divinity’s Fall. The novel dances around the moral high grounds surrounding multiple civilizations spirituality, and ultimately, their spirits. Still working on it, if you want a teaser I will be happy to email it to you.
So what else do I do? I go out and have fun if at all possible! Much to the chagrin of many of my friends, I consider helping those in need of assistance satisfying enough that I actually make it fun.
I can cook like there is no tomorrow. Something my parental units felt was necessary to learn so I wouldn’t be sponging off of them after high school
I like Italian food (go figure…Me=Prolific Example of Italian Goodness). But also have a very strange weakness for tuna fish sandwiches, ribeyes, and venison.
I love my music…which varies a ton, but rarely includes Country & Western. I consider myself a spiritualist, although I am convinced I might seriously be struck down by lightning if I set foot in a church (ask me why! )
In a nutshell, that’s me!
