Police cleared in use of Taser…

Yeah…see…THIS is the kind of shit that makes people get REAL angry. Before you read more, I don’t have an obligation to be politically correct, I have no reservations here, this is my place and you’re shit out of luck in criticizing me for my opinions on this. Dicing something up so cracker-jack cops don’t get into serious trouble for assaulting a student is bullshit. Right along with the rights to carry a badge and regulate for local governments come the accountability for fucking up…but oh …it’s just an outspoken student, and if they had done one hair more damage than they had there would have been riots…not from a kid asking questions…but from some asshat in a suit that didn’t feel that student had the right to ask those questions.

If you saw the video of this kid posing said questions to Senator John Kerry, then you also know there was not even a hint of violence involved. The inquiries were reminiscent of aggressive journalism, but hardly something you give someone a Taser for. This isn’t about legal, for those of you who aren’t legally gifted, if the police ask you to do something, and it’s not illegal, or endangering your life or anyone else, you are bound by law to comply…period. That isn’t in dispute here. What is in dispute is where the police saw probable cause, and their timing in enforcement. It’s blatantly obvious in the videos that the cops were following orders…because not one of them had ever showed remotely any satisfaction in moving in to detain the student.

Here are the questions:
The Questions
Now, this guy was asking some dicey questions, however the kid was extremely well read, citing a documentary/expose provoking some good questions we never saw in the media regarding the obvious miscounting and shenanigans in vote counts in the Bush/Kerry race. When we see something fundamentally wrong within our sphere of influence, it is NOT our just our right to react…it is our moral and ethical duty to intervene. I have emailedAndrew requesting a list fo the questions he was trying to pose to Senator Kerry.

THEY FUCKING TASED HIM WHILE SENATOR KERRY WAS ANSWERING HIS QUESTIONS.
You would think the cracker-jack campus cops involved would have realized that Kerry was actually responding to the guy in kind while the electrocuted the kid…No…they kept on trying to restrain the kid from…whatever danger he was posing. Kerry handled a really bad situation far far better than the police. He simply asked that everyone calm down, and then proceeded to respond to the student’s questions…too late…kid feels he’d being illegally detained…and *pop* there’s a taser.

RESPONSE FROM SENATOR KERRY
On the day following the incident, Kerry’s office issued a statement:
“ In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way. I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption, but I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention. I asked the police to allow me to answer the question and was in the process of responding when he was taken into custody. I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building. I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted. ”
— John Kerry

WHO IS THE DICK IN THE SUIT?!
There is a guy in a suit with the cops while the student began asking questions that was obviously the decision maker in telling the cops to detain the student. Who was this shithead and why hasn’t he come forward with more information on why he gave the cops the go-ahead. This would certainly clear some things up now wouldn’t it?

Here’s the link to the latest on it.
Police cleared in use of Taser on student.

Here’s a link to what happened following the student’s questions:
Afterwards

Free speech is the one thing that separates us from all the rest.
The ability to discern the illusion of free speech is what separates the “sheep” from those of us who actually value and utilize our freedoms.

Andrew Meyer (the student posing the questions) has been charged by police for resisting an officer and disturbing the peace, but the State Attorney’s Office has not yet decided whether to file formal charges. Now in the video from LiveLeak, you’ll hear them tell the student he was attempting to incite a riot?! So they went from Inciting a Riot to resisting and disturbing?!

At one point a rumor went around regarding the police being warned that the student was playing a practical joke…well that was obvious…another source STILL cites that Meyer was known for publishing his practical jokes online (which for the life of me couldn’t find on his website but who knows… www.theandrewmeyer.com …see for yourself. I did notice however the media has since changed the dialogue to “comedy recordings.”

I found the most details in writing here on the Wiki:

This little rant wasn’t well thought out and may be edited later for consistency, but this is it.
