My first thoughts were questions…

So I am now going through all my journals and crazy as musings. Some of these little quips and shorts are from decades ago. As they are posted…I will try to elaborate on the setting and mood where possible. If your going to read this crap, you may as well experience them via my own perspective.

The short little quip below was me trying to explain in silence why I like to listen rather than speak. enjoy!

When one is reading, it is quite necessary to derive not only the meaning of each word, but also the meaning in each phrase, commensurate to sentences, then to the paragraph, then entire dialog. How many colors does one remember seeing once his or her eyes are closed? What situations cause different colors to appear? Analyzing what colors are within view might be a fault in interpretation of what we’re expected to see! Looking into a mirror without being aware of its properties would sure drive one to an inaccurate interpretation of events.

Why can you hear your own heartbeat? Without the cause of the noise, would never know why it was caused. The roar of a lion while blindfolded would make one a little nervous until he or she heard the click of the end of the sound file or th hiss of electronic silence.

My point?

Simple. Stop reading everything at face value, and try more to understand the meaning of the experience. Spend more time listening to everything around you and you may just learn something other than how patient people can be. 😉
